Make The Most of Your Easter Weekend

It seems like an entire age since the Christmas holidays, and with summer a distant prospect – especially in Scotland when it snows in March it may seem like it’s work, work, work from here-on-in. Fear not my hard-working compadres, for the Easter Break is almost upon us. Though the 2011 Easter break dates fall much later than last year, this only allows for greater preparation for your long weekend. Good Friday falls on the 22nd April this year, with the following Monday 25th April hosting Easter Monday. This is a great time to take a well-earned break in between the festive season and the coming summer months. If you, like many others, cannot wait until the summer holidays arrive to get your UV fix, why not book a short weekend break in the UK or abroad this Easter. Four days is a long time when 5 days out of 7 have been spent slaving in front panic attacks of a computer screen, or braving the never-ending onslaught of rain and wind as we labour the days away. So, whether it’s a relaxing break in the Scottish highlands, away from the bustle of the city, or an exciting city break in Europe to stimulate the senses and re-awaken some enthuisiasm for life, there is a wide range of options available for holiday-makers this Easter. While there are many attractive <a rel=”nofollow” onclick=”javascript:_gaq.push(['_trackPageview', '/outgoing/article_exit_link']);” href=”http://www.classicbritishhotels.com/easter/breaks/”>Easter breaks in the UK</a> on offer, this is also a great chance to get some pre-summer sun, and escape the dreary drizzle of UK weather, for a few days anyway. Wherever you decide to go, make sure you make the most of the Easter bank holiday, and enjoy the mini-break on offer.
